Deep Fried Bread Cheese Balls | Mozzarella Cheese Stuffed Bread Balls | Deep Fried Snacks For Kids | Deep Fried Fritters With Left Over White Bread And Cheese

These are deep fried bread balls with cheese stuffing...I followed the steps according my mind when I thought to make some cheesey balls for Mahas Boys...Here first,I prepared bread like a lump/soft dough by soaking them in water for a second..But,you can use the single bread slice for stuffing by soaking in water before..You can use any ingredients in the stuffing like sweet corns, green peas, garlic etc..Also,should be careful while deep frying the balls to retain the shape and don`t fry too brown in color...So,why you are late still..Go and pickup all the ingredients, cook and enjoy with hot tea/coffee..

WHAT YOU NEED

Mozzarella cheese slices-3-4
carrot-1 small
onion-1 small
cilantro leaves- handful
black pepper powder-to taste
salt-to taste
chat masala-1/4 tsp (optional)
white bread slices-5-6
oil for deep frying

HOW TO COOK

Cut cheese slices into fine pieces...

In a mixing bowl take chopped cheese, grated carrot, finely chopped onion, chopped cilantro leaves, black pepper powder, salt, chat masala and mix it well with hands..Then take lemon size mixture and shape it like ball.

Take 1/2 cup of water in another bowl..Now dip bread slices and squeeze out water immediately as much as possible..Now mix these bread slices into a fine mixture or almost like dough  (see the picture)

Now take some bread mixture spread it on your palm place cheese ball, close from all sides carefully..Cheese ball should be small in size, other wise while frying comes out ..so,carefully shape them and arrange all in a plate..

Now heat oil for deep frying in a kadai or vessel..Take bread crumbs in a plate and roll these balls  and set aside... When the oil very warm drop this bread balls carefully ... at a time 3-4 balls are fine..

Don`t over mix the balls & don`t flip them much while frying, other wise they loose the shape..
{That`s the mistake which I did :( }

Carefully take out on a kitchen paper towel and serve hot with ketchup.

HOW TO COOK

Wash Black Eyed Beans well and soak in enough water for over night..next day morning pressure cook for 2-3 whistles. Its depended on flame. If the flame is low may takes 10-12 minutes time to cook..But don`t cook too mushy..

Now wait until it release air..Grind black eyed beans coarsely in mixy jar or you can use potato masher also...

**Now take black eyed beans mixture in a mixing bowl..Add in chickpea flour.Depending on the black eyed beans quantity take chick pea flour.the moisture in the beans plays key role to add chick pea flour..**

red chili powder,salt,garam masala,turmeric powder,cumin seeds,hing,curry leaves,coriander powder,ginger garlic paste,chopped onion,chopped green chili,cilantro leaves and mix well..

Make it like dough ball, almost black eyed beans helps to make it like a dough..you don`t need any water..if still it looks very hard  add water spoon by spoon..careful while adding, other wise it turns like a lump.

Heat kadai and pour in 1/2 litre oil.. Mean while take a lemon ball size micture and make it like vada.If you like can put a hole in the middle.I skipped it..Prepare all these  vadas and place on cover which is coated with oil...

Now check the hotness of oil by dropping a small mixture ball, and if the oil is fine hot, place 3-4 vadas at a time and fry in medium flame..Flip vadas other side and fry until turns golden brown color..

Once the vadas turns crispy remove on kitchen paper towel..Serve hot with ketchup.

Malai koftas/How to make ricotta potato kofta/ step by step pictures/ Deep fried potato cheese balls in indian style

I really loved these all pictures...Even though they looks simple, lightening was perfect in them..Along with that, koftas also perfectly came out..Here in foz, after a long time, iam getting spinach..One day just cooked spinach fry..and then after searching web, attracted by palak kofta gravy recipe ..Though palak gravy is recipe is simple, koftas process is little bit big and tough..If the koftas are perfect then the gravy is simple to make...Instead of making palak gravy you can use them in any gravy. Here first Iam sharing only about how to make koftas..Soon will share spinach kofta gravy recipe too..

Coming to this recipe,If you balance the measurement of potato n paneer along with good amount spices koftas come outs perfectly..Shaping the koftas is very important, other wise, while frying koftas may spread out in oil. Also, keep flame in medium,Because we are using raw paneer,it needs time to cook inside the koftas....I forgotten taking pictures of inside kofta...Actually it`s damn hot in foz..That too in the after noon time the complete sun light is falling in the hall and iam in full of sweat all the days..After cooking and clicking this koftas,I was totally tired...Then within few minutes DH was there in home for lunch..So,I missed to take the pictures of inside part of the koftas..DH had lunch with this gravy and said they are tasty too..With those positive words, was confirmed, that they fried well and felt that the texture was also good...Try it if you lik ethis kind of foods and let me know plz..

CATEGORY- SNACKS/DEEP FRIED APPETIZERS/ TEA TIME SNACKS
PREPARATION TIME- 20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 15 MINUTES

WHAT YOU NEED

Paneer grated-1/2 cup (I used ricotta cheese)
potato- 1 big
chat masala-1/2 tsp
Red chili powder-to taste
salt
cumin powder-1/2 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
corn flour-1 tbsp
chopped cilantro leaves-1/2 cup loosely packed

Oil-for deep frying

HOW TO COOK

Boil chopped potato and mash it..Grate paneer..

In a mixing bowl take mashed potato, grated paneer all spice powders, cilantro leaves, corn flour and mix every thing well..make it like a soft mixture. It should be hard not sticky or loose.

Then take some mixture and roll it like ball..Size is depended on your choice..

Mean while heat some oil in kadai for deep fry..When the oil is hot, drop kofta balls slowly..Let them sit for 1 minute in the bottom first..

Then start frying them in medium flame.Once after done remove on kitchen paper..

You can serve with ketchup or chili sauce...OR can use in any gravy recipes..later I cooked palak kofta gravy..

THE FIRST PIC IS SPINACH BOILING-NOT RELATED TO THIS RECIPE

THE LAST ONE SPINACH IN MIXY JAR-RELATED TO OTHER RECIPE

MAHAS NOTES

Balancing the paneer n potato quantity is important..Other wise, wile deep frying it may lose the shape.Per 1 big potato 1/2 cup grated paneer is enough..If you increase the quantity of potato or paneer make sure to equal the quanity of another too..

Adjust spices as per your taste.you can omit cumin powder n use cumin seeds.

Also can use home made paneer .You can green chili paste too..

Can use all purpose flour/Maida instead of corn flour.

Chat masala is my personal choice.can skip it.
