I tried very long time this recipe,but for step wise pictures purpose re posting the recipe
again..This time missed main pictures of the recipe,so,same with old pictures posting it...Besan Paare is one of the popular north indian savory snack which people makes often,mostly in festival times..
These are crunchy in texture and spicy in taste.These can be stored for one month in airtight containers.If the Besan Paare are cooked on high heat, they will be soft. It is a great snack to enjoy in th evening times with hot cup of tea.
gram flour/besan/chickpea flour-1 cup
salt-to taste

maida/all purpose flour flour-1/2 cup
fine semolina flour (fine sooji) - 2 tbsp

red chilli powder-1 tsp (as per your taste)
oil-3 tbsp
asafetida/hing-2-3 pinches

cumin seeds-1 tsp (opt)
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Preparation
Mix flour, semolina,flour,salt,cumin seeds,asafetida,chili powder,oil together.
Add water as needed to make firm but smooth dough. Cover with damp cloth and set aside at least for ten minutes.

Knead the dough for another minute and divide into four equal parts.Take each part of the dough and make a flat ball shape.
Roll it like chapathi.Prick with a fork all over the roti.Using sharp knife,cut into square shape pieces. (you can use cookie cutters of any shape)
Another side heat oil in a frying kadai on medium heat.Place few paare in oil and fry in medium flame.Don`t load kadai with too many and fry them until both sides are light golden-brown.
After Besan Paare come to room temperature they should become crisp.
