RICOTTA CHEESE HEALTH BENEFITS:
1.Ricotta beats out the hard cheeses for fat content and overall health benefits and even has advantages over cottage cheese.
2.Use it as a tasty white pizza topping or stuff a chicken breast with it for added calcium. Substitute it in place of cream cheese in dessert recipes or flavor it with orange liqueur and serve it with fresh fruit. It's a tasty, and healthy, alternative.
3.Ricotta cheese is a good source of protein with five to grams in a quarter cup serving.
4.This soft, creamy cheese has almost 130 milligrams of calcium per quarter cup - and is an excellent source of zinc and selenium.
5. Ricotta cheese wins out over its cottage cheese rival when it comes to salt content. Ricotta cheese has almost five times less sodium than cottage cheese - making it an easy choice for anyone watching their blood pressure. Ricotta is also a good source of riboflavin and vitamin B12.

Creamy mixed vegetable pulav without Garam masala/Easy vegetable rice pulav with cream/Healthy Vegetarian pilaf recipes/South Indian Rice recipes/Vegetable pulao in rice cooker with mint/Health benefits of rice and cream/Step by step pictures
More than the traditional recipes I have innovative and own created recipes in my MLH.I have already posted lots of rice recipes which are under category one pot meals. In that going to join this newly prepared vegetable pulav..It is a pilaf which cooked with basmati rice, veggies with a touch of cream.Whipping cream is always takes place in my trolley which I use often in cooking for rich taste..I like to add it in rice recipes like pulav, biryanis, gravies and mostly in chicken recipes.Fruit salad with cream also my favourite which i shared already in my blog..
Here in this cream takes important place which gave a delicious taste for rice. Also,I added some potato pieces for the first time in pualv.if you are my blog regular reader then definitely you know that i don`t cook potato.Hehehehe.this rice don`t need any biryani masala powder except coriander powder for flavor. You can add any kind vegetables like peas, mushrooms, any beans(fist ful),brinjals etc..I used french beans, cauli flower, tomato, potato, onion and carrot..Instead of cooking in pan, after sauting veggies add rice in pan, once it stats boiling shift into rice cooker. It is a time saving method and easy to do also.Try it and enjoy healthy meals.
RICE HEALTH BENEFITS:
1.Rice is the staple food of over half the world`s population.
2.Comparative nutrition studies on red, black and white varieties of rice suggest that pigments in red and black rice varieities may offer nutritional benefits.
3.Basmati rice is a unique species of rice originating from countries like india and pakistan.Just like all species of rice, basmati is available in white or brown versions, depending on the extent of the milling process. like jasmine rice,it has it`s own unique smell,in the case of basmati rice the smell is due to the presence of a chemical called 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline,which is foundin basmati rice at about 90 parts per billion.that`s about 12 times more than in other types of rice, giving basmati its special aroma.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PULAV AND BIRYANI?
pulav is which cooked rice along with veggies or chicken or mutton pieces along with spices and powders.Means it`s like one pot meals which is combined every thing.Biryani is where we cook rice and veg mix or meat mix separately with whole spices then we arrange it on layers with fresh mint and cilantro leaves...For rich look we use color or saffron in biryanis.Well, pualo no need any colors and you can enjoy it with raita. In biryani recipes you need gravies for combination along with thick raitas. We can cook pulav with normal rice too.But biryani means which is cooked basmati rice..Basmati rice are famous in making biriyani recipes.
CREAM HEALTH BENEFITS:
1.Cream is a dairy product that composed of the higher-butterfat layer skimmed from the top of milk beofre homogenization.
