Chicken Korma | Easy chicken kurma | chicken korma with coconut | Quick and easy pressure cooker chicken curries
With day by day cooking women becomes perfect in cooking,slowly they becomes experts in few categories too. In my case,with 8 years of involvement in cooking,i feel i cook well non-veg dishes,sweets specially baking breads..Instead of cooking same old curries or gravies with chicken I prefer different versions..This is my very own creation which i have cooked in hurry for dinner last few weeks back and came out so well.So,thought to share in blog and luckily I took step by step pictures..
The Key of the recipe is ground masala.Here,I will you a wonderful tip which helps you to make many more other dishes.that is,you can use this coconut ground masala paste for many other graviesLike for mushroom,baby corn,paneer,peas,potato or beans.Even you can cook the mutton with the same recipe. coconut is the main ingredient to make korma and the khus khus,cashews enhances the dish taste. Try it next time and enjoy with hot rotis..
Ingredients 
chicken with bones - 1/2 kg -500 grams
onion-1 big
ginger garlic paste/GGP -1 tsp
tomato-1 big or tomato puree- 1/3 cup

salt-to taste
water-1/2 cup -3/4 cup
oil-1 tbsp
red chili powder -2 tsps
finely chopped green chillies-2
turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
coriander powder-1 tsp
cumin powder-1 tsp
chicken masala powder-1 tsp
garam masala-1/2 tsp
coriander+mint leaves -1 handful+1 handful
To grind Masala
Coconut pieces-1/3 cup
cashews-4-5
khus khus/gasagasalu- 1 tbsp
Preparation
Heat oil in pressure cooker,throw in cumin seeds,cinnamon stick,cloves,cardamom pods.. Saute onion,GGP until light brown in color.. Now add in washed chicken,spice powders and mix well.
Now add in coriander+mint leaves, ground coconut mixture,tomato puree and mix well.Pressure cook for 20-25 minutes in medium flame.
Now throw garam masala,coriander,cumin,chicken masala powders, and cook for 5 more minutes in hig flame..tur off and serve hot with roti,chapathi or rice.

How you use ripen bananas??? Heheehe..That`s a silly question nah??!!! If you ask this to me, I mean to an active blogger/baker like me, with super loud voice (i) will say of course ""in Baking"" Hahhahaa!!!!
