Chicken kofta fried rice/ Meat balls rice/Murgh kofta rice/Indian popular rice recipes/Indian style chicken meat balls rice/Step by step pictures
Long time back,I posted baked chicken koftas recipe with step wise pictures..Then using few koftas cooked biryani which already shared in MLH..After that with remaining koftas tried this simple one pot meals which is very easy to cook without any mess..This is bit spicy,hot and you can add left over rice too.If the koftas are ready then you can go with rice recipe..It tastes good when you serve hot with thick fresh curd or raita...
WHAT YOU NEED
Chicken koftas-5-6
Cooked rice-2 cups
red chili powder-to taste
salt
garam masala- 1 tsp
onion-1 medium size
capsicum/green bell pepper-1 big
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
coriander powder-1 tsp
mint+cilantro leaves-2 fist fuls
oil- 2 tbsp
cumin-1 tsp
cloves-2
bay leaf-1 small
fennel seeds- 1 tsp
cardamom - 1
HOW TO COOK
Heat pan with oil and saute all which mentioned under oil...Then fry onions til soft and add chopped capscium..Add salt and other spice powders and mix well..
Cook for 3-4 minutes and add koftas and mint leaves..Mix nicely and cook for 2-3 minutes..
Then add cooked white rice and mix..Let it cook this for 5 minutes in low flame and add cilantro leaves..
Fold well and turn off.serve hot with raita/curd.
MAHAS NOTES
Add any other veggies and name mixed veg chicken kofta rice
Add sauces like chili sauce and soya sauce for a change.
Don`t skip mint,cilantro leaves.

Baked chicken koftas biryani/baked indian meat balls/Murgh kofta biriyani/south indian biryani recipes/Sunday non-veg lunch recipes
I cooked this chicken kofta biryani last month ..Every time Iam post poning this because of this long notes..Along with this the same day,I prepared boiled egg kurma too..Hmmdon1t know what happend to my lappy..I upload new pictures every time in new folder.But ,I missed few pictures recently..Hmm..I missed that egg kurma recipe pics too..Anyway what I want to tell is,careful with your pictures..after uploading them as soon as possible edit and shift into blog...
Coming to the recipe,long time back i posted deep fried chciken koftas gravy recipe..Those koftas are perfectly deep fried and its a popular recipe in my Mahaslovelyhome....This time Instead of deep frying I baked koftas without a tbsp of oil and they are very healthy...Baking time is little bit lengthy but its worth to try..If you are true chicken lover/biryani lover must try this recipe......here I gave steo by step pictures which helps you..Try it and share your results...

PREPARATION TIME- 60 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 40 MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
TO MAKE KOFTAS
Bone less chicken-250 grams
salt
red chili powder-to taste
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
black pepper powder-1/2 tsp
corn flour-2 tbsp
fresh cilantro leaves-few
curd-1/4 cup
garam masala-1 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
lemon juice-1 tsp
HOW TO COOK
HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN KOFTAS
Wash chicken twice and chop into pieces.grind finely using sharp blender.Don`t use fruit juicer..
take this soft blended minced meat in a bowl and add all spices which mentioned above.
Take lemone size meat and make it like a ball.Roll like these til completes meat..
Preheat oven at 200 degree C.Line aluminium foil in tray or glass bowl and place meat balls.
Bake for 20 minutes and turn them other side.again bake for 20 minutes atleast..check out with tooth pick finally..
Your koftas are ready now..
WHAT YOU NEED
TO MAKE CHICKEN KOFTA BIRYANI
FOR RICE
Basmati rice-2 cups
salt
oil-1 tsp
bay leaf-1
cloves-3
cardamom pods-2
cinnamon stick-1 small
TO MAKE CURRY YOU NEED
onions-2 big
capsicum/green bell pepper-1
tomato-1 big
curd-1/3 cup
oil-1/4 cup
butter-1 tbsp(optional)
kasoori methi-1 tsp
salt
red chili powder-to taste
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 tsp
1.cloves-2
2.fennel seeds-1 tsp
3.cumin-1 tsp
4.cardamom pods-1
5.cloves-2
6.staranise-small
7.mint leaves-1 cup
cilantro leaves-1 cup
food color-2-3 pinches
water-1/4 cup
Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes...Heat a vessel with enough water...Add rice when water starts boiling...
Add salt and other ingredients which mentioned under FOR RICE..Cook rice 70% and drain in colander..
Heat a pressure cooker with 1/4 th cup of oil and fry sliced 1 onion until brown..then remove fried onions and add spices from 1 to 7..Saute well and add chopped onions..Saute fro 2 minutes..
Then add capsicum and mix well.Cook for 2 more minutes again..now add tomatoes diced and let ity cook fro 2 more minutes..Add chicken koftas this time and spice powders..
Chili powder,salt,garam masala,GGP,kasoori methi and finally curd..Combine every thing well and cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
now add rice on top of this meat balls curry mix and put flame low first..On top of the rice add mint and cilantro leaves,fried onions n color water..
spread rice again on top and do the same process again..Pour food colour well and if you like can add add some ghee and dry fruits and nutsfor rich taste.
Heat tawa now and on top put this cooker and cook for 10-15 minutes in low flame..
Once after turn off let it sit for 15 minutes..then open.mix carefully and serve hot with lemon wedge,raita and any gravy...
