Hi.....Iam back today with a rich paneer gravy dish which tastes best with rotis and rice.....This is very rich in taste because of adding cream...Some how iam trying hardly to avoid paneer.....And this is the recent variety i tried with paneer.......So,I don`t want to waste the time with any other stories..Here goes the detailed recipes list......
PREPARATION TIME-10 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-15 MINUTES
SERVES-3-4
Ingredients
paneer/ricotta cheese-200gms
tomatoes-2big
onion-1small
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1tsp
fresh cream-1/2cup
kasoori methi/fenugreek leaves-1/2cup
chilli powder-1tsp
salt-to taste
garam masala-1tsp
milk-1/2cup
turmeric-1/2tsp
cilantro/kottimeera-few leaves
water-3/4-1cup
oil-2tsps
cumin-1/2tsp
Preparation
Chop paneer and boil in water for 5-8 minutes til it turns to soft.Drain them and keep aside...
Heat a kadai with oil and add the cumin.Throw in chopped onions and fry til raw smell oozes out...
Now throw in chopped tomatoes and mix once.....Add all the powders like chilli powder,salt,kasoori methi,garam masala and turmeric......mix well....
Now add in half of the cream and cook for 3-4 minutes in low flame.....
Add in water,milk and cook for 5 more minutes.....Add in chilli sauce.....mix once again.....
Add paneer cubes and mix well......Add in remaining cream and cook for 5 more minutes.......
Add in some chopped cilantro and Off the flame.
Serve hot with rotis or hot steaming rice......
Rich and delicious gravy.. Very inviting..

ReplyDeleteHello Maha! This is how I make creamy paneer gravy too, except I fry the paneer cubes and soak them in water for a few seconds before patting them dry with a kitchen paper.
