PESARATTU is the one of the famous break fast in andhra.......It`s healthy and delicious too.
Ingredients
green gram/pesarlu/green moong dal-2 cups
raw rice-1 cup
onion-1 big
ginger-small piece
green chilli-2
salt-to taste
oil-as needed for pan frying
Wash and soak rice and green gram separately over night or for atleast 8 hours........
chop the onion,chillies and ginger.......
in the next day morning drain the water from rice and dal .........
grind it into a fine batter by adding all the chopped ingredients and salt........
add in enough water (around 3/4-1cup)while grinding to the batter ........
it should be like dosa batter........
heat a pan add in 1tsp of oil and pour a laddle of batter and spread evenly to form like a dosa....
once fried well reverse it and fry for 1 more minute on other side. if need add 1/2tsp of oil......
thats it.........
easy and tasty pesarattu is ready to serve.........
serve with coconut chutney(will post soon)......
