COMING TO THE RECIPE-
I love rotis and parathas...
......my hub is not a big one of them..
.....he maintains a very long distance to this parathas...bcz of butter and oil.
...but for me
...parathas and rotis are very yum n tasty dish n my favourite food too
.......its difficult to stop eating if started once
...
Eating only maida is not too good for health...
....so,i mixed wheat flour too in this...
...you can skip this and prepare with only maida...
Ingredients
all purpose flour-1cup
wheat flour-1cup
oil-2tsps
salt-to taste
warm water-to make dough
Preparation
mix all the ings and make into a fine dough.........
apply the oil on top of the dough and keep in rest for 15-20mins.......
now divide the dough into equal size parts..start rolling like chapathi........
apply some oil on the chapathi and spread evenly...and sprinkle some flour........
now start folding it like a saree fleet..(see the image below)
curl it into form a round shape......apply some oil on top.......
now again roll it like chapathi and cook in a pan applying oil or ghee on both sides........
after done remove it and serve with any kurma or gravy...........
EASY TO DO WITH PICS
make the dough
roll into chapathi
apply oil and dust some flour
start folding
fold completely like this
curl it like this
apply oil and roll it again into chapathi.....
and fry both sides and crush it......(i missed pics :-( )
nice parathas

ReplyDeleteNice post! Such a great tutorial on making paratha.
ReplyDeleteI really don't have a problem with the word verification thing. It's a good form of security that helps eliminate spammers. It may be time consuming but I guess it's all worth it. But you know, there's one thing that's giving me a hard time whenever I'm on your site. I'm not sure if it's because of the smiley and hello kitty gifs but there's something that's making my access to your blog so slow. Just thought you should know. :)
Happy weekend!
