Hi..happy Monday to all......here The weather so cool n almost winter was Started....we r freezing(not completely)....Already both cuties are suffering with cold and remaining me about cold syrup all the day...hehehe..The bad habit of mine is forgetting..YES...Iam very poor in memory (not in every thing) n always forgets silly,simple home works..N always DH complains,shouts about this..still I did n`t changed n he is tired of me.Still loves me lot.(TE AMO ME AMOR )..Iam a kind of lazy girl some times;-} hehehe.(have lots of memory power in explaining watched out movie stories specially...lol....)
O.K....O.K..Lets give a break here..
Let`s talk about the Recipe little bit....How many of you hates MANGOES??? Twist to the regular question?? Iam hearing so many NO`s...Hey..That`s happy to hear ha...If you are familiar to MAHSALOVELYHOME then you may know that Iam a huge lover of MANGOES.Whenever my eyes sees fresh Mangoes they start blinking...N definitely take few of them. ...
This post was in my draft list from a long time...Before DH travelling in feb I told you that he brought some mangoes in my MANGO FOOL Recipe..On the same week i prepared this delicious Parfait but some how I postponed every time..Now the time was came n here the post is infront of you all..If you have yogurt,mangoes and dry fruits in your fridge then It may take 15 mins to prepare.This kind of PARFAITS are the best choice to feed Children especially..In hot summers this kind of PARFAITS makes your tummy cool n keeps refreshing... ...
CATEGORY- MANGOES/DESSERTS/PARFAIT
PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINS
SERVES-1
WHAT YOU NEED
Mango pulp fresh -1 cup (OR)Ripe mango-1 MED SIZE
fresh thick yogurt -1/2 - 3/4 cup
cashews/kaju -3
almonds/badams-3
raisins-3
dates-3
walnuts-3
pistachios-3
honey-2tsps
mango chunks-3tsps(finely chpd)
cardamom powder -1/2tsp
cinnamon powder-1/4tsp
vanilla essence-1/4tsp
ginger powder-1/4tsp
HOW TO MAKE
Squeeze mango pulp and keep this aside.......
Chop very finely all the nuts,raisins and dates..Mix all well...
Mix vanilla and 3 powders to the yogurt and give a good mix..Now It`s time to assembling.....
First,Take pulp in the glass then add in Yogurt mix and top with mango chunks.....
Now add nuts mix and spoon over honey.....Refrigerate for 15- 20 mins if you like.Other wise serve as it is...
MAHAS NOTES
Using thick yogurt gives a separation lines to the PARFAIT..Mine is Little bit watery n within seconds it was mixed up with Mango pulp..
First decide well about the glass or bowl..Other wise you won`t get perfect/good look....
Nuts here which I gave is extremely according to my choice. You can add any of them..
Vanilla n powders are also my choice..So,it`s your choice to add or not ..But those gives kick to PARFAIT..
* Finally Enjoy the each and every spoon with heart and feel the taste...Hmmmm..AHA!!!!
