Ingredients
Rice-2cups
onion-1 sliced
peas-1cup
green chilli-4
cloves-4
bay leaf-1
cardamom-3
staranise-1
cumin-1tsp
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1tsp
oil-2tsps+ghee-1tsp
salt-to taste
Preparation
Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes........
Heat pan with oil add cumin..after crackle it add cloves,bay leaf,cardamom and staranise........
add slit length wise green chilli and onions......saute til transparent.........
add in GGP and peas and fry for 3 minutes...........
add in soaked rice,salt and water as needed and cook in a medium flame................
check the rice whether done or not.........simmer the flame for 3 minutes before going to
off.......
when the rice cooked completely 0ff the wait for 10 minutes to remove the lid............
serve with curd or raita or any gravy dish...........
It is a very easy and simple and healthy rice dish.............
