From last few weeks what i observed is I did n`t posted any snack or spicy Recipe in Mahaslovelyhome..So, searched draft list n finally got this Recipe..I can say that this is the only snack which I makes regularly in home..... cooking for health conscious persons is really a difficult job......YES..Iam talking about my DH...He don`t allows any oil content foods,sugar n even so much n salty too...Hmm....really such a strange person na.
From long time these rice flakes are settled down in my pantry n these 2 boys MAHADEV N MAHADHIP don`t likes idlis or dosas.So.tried out this super easy snack n still have some more..let`s see.have simple plans to try new varities....Coming to this one,those who likes to munching without giving gap can go through with this...It`s the best low calorie diet food too..

PREPARATION TIME-20 MINS
COOKING TIME-15 MINS
WHAT YOU NEED
Rice flakes/chuduva- 5 cups
peanuts/pallilu-1cup
cashews-10
putnalu/roasted bengal gram/roasted chana dal-1/2cup
coriander seeds/dhaniyalu-1tsp
sesame seeds/nuvulu-1tsp
salt-to taste
cumin seeds-1tsp
red chillis-5
red chilli powder-1/2tsp-1tsp
curry leaves-5 sprigs
turmeric powder-1/4tsp
hing/inguva-2-3 pinches
oil-2-3 tsps
HOW TO COOK
Heat a thick bottomed kadai with oil and add in peanuts,cashews,roasted chana dal, broken red chillis and cumin seeds.roast these all well in low flame til turns to light brown colour.......
Add in coriander seeds,sesame,curry leaves,hing and turmeric powder and mix well...
Now add rice flakes/atukulu and mix well with other INGS.Add in salt n red chilli powder n mix nicely to coat with rice flakes
Stir for 5-10 more in low flame or til rice flakes turns light crispy then off flame and serve with a cup of tea in the evening time..
