Christmas is a big festival in American countries which everyone knows very well. Even in this city, people celebrate it with more fun and joy. Though I am a beginner in baking on this day I couldn't I stop myself to try something soon my own idea, baked this cake.Though I can find a recipe on Google I want my own version to check out my skills level. So, after spending some time to write a balanced ingredients list attempted this cake. This cake is a little bit hard in texture but very tasty and rich in every bite. Adding butter may give the much better taste than the oil I felt later.I hope you all like my experiment and your comments are very encouraging.
Ingredients
all purpose flour/maida-2 cups
White sugar-1 cup
butter-1 cup (200 grams)
3 % fat milk-1 cup
desiccated coconut powder-1/2 cup
dryfruits-cashews+almonds+black+gold raisins-1 cup
walnuts+tuttyfrutty+apricots+peach+dates-1 cup
vanilla essence-2 tsps
baking powder-2 tsps
cinnamon powder-1 teaspoon
cinnamon powder-1 teaspoon
baking soda-1 tsp
eggs-3
Creamcheese-to decorate (optional)
1.Preheat the oven to 180c.
2.Mix flour, baking powder, soda, coconut powder, ginger powder and dry fruits.
3.Mix butter, eggs, vanilla, sugar and beat til fluffy......
4.Now add flour mixture to the butter mixture..mix all together..
5.If it is too dry add some more milk (1/3 cup more) and the batter should be in loose consistency.
6.Grease the cake tin, with butter and pour this batter. Bake it for40-45min.check it with inserting a tooth pick. If it comes out clean, cake baked perfectly.
